I think there's hope still; I really believe that invites are going to be sent out until the last week of decision date. Hang tight! I know how it feels (trust me), but hang tight!

Please count me in for Roll Call, R1. I've been an observer but not registered yet.

I had my Skype interview with Whitney on Dec 07. She's extremely nice, with smile on her face all the time. We had a nice chat lasting for more than one hour. At the end, she actively gave me her email address, which I almost forgot. Looking forward to hearing from the adcom soon. Darden is so amazing~~!!

Just out of curiosity, what type of questions are being asked? I see that it's going to be a blind interview, and the interviewer will not have reviewed one's application or resume. So is this more of a behavioral type of interview (since no resumes are involved and interviewees are asked to not bring the resume to interview)

At the beginning, you talk about your life story. During this time, the interviewer will interrupt for several times for follow-up questions about your specific leadership\teamwork experience, your family, your extracurricular activities, and your hobbies. He or she wants to hear detailed examples. So the only REAL question asked is your life story. Any other questions are conversation-like follow-up questions based on your own stories. Good luck!

Have not been following Darden thread diligently, so apologies if this has been already answered elsewhere.

Applying in January, and would like to double-check with Clubbers about the school's requirement for test scores. I understand that Darden does NOT require the official scores upon submission of application, is this right? Does this mean that I do not have to register Darden as one of the schools to report my score, when I take the GMAT/TOEFL?

Another score related question I have is, if I re-take the GMAT AFTER I submit my application, does Darden accept the new score?

Thanks!

i interviewed in november.... and no, i did not submit an official gmat score.. i do not know how re-taking the gmat and submitting will play out, but if that is what you are thinking about doing, i would suggest:

1) maybe just wait and see what you get the first time you take the gmat before you apply?
2) write what your intentions are in the optional essay section to give them a heads up on what might happen?

i hope this help!
