I hope anyone this time will delete my post, asking the following.
So my question is how tough is recruting process at Darden now given the current market situation? I have heard that
students currently are experiencing problems with job placement.
Could you please elaborate on that?

Got an invite today. But I applied to Darden thru The Consortium, and I received an email earlier this morning that they had just received my Consortium app and it was in their system...so I got my invite about 12 hours after my app was received. They made it clear that Consortium apps would be part of Round 1.
Only 1/7 (two slots) are open. I can't do either. Hoping I can work something out with Admissions.
I just read through this whole thread...and golly, some of you are over the top! Calling Admissions non-stop, constantly badgering them about invites - give them a break! They've got thousands of apps to read and they're not going to personally track your app through the entire process.
That being said, best of luck to everyone.
