Hi - I am new to this board and I have a question
I retook my GMAT today and sent my schools (including Darden) the unofficial report. Will schools like Darden include it in my application, or is it likely that they've already reviewed it and it's too late to submit updated scores?

To tell you the truth, I would call AdCom tomorrow morning and ask about this. That will for sure give you a right answer.

You should definitely call and send and email with your new unofficial scores. The admissions staff will take your new score into account.

Have you submitted your application already?? Checking with their website, I am left with the impression that you can send new GMAT scores prior to submitting your application. Call them for sure.

"We evaluate only GMAT results from tests taken prior to submission of the application. The highest score is used, but we do not combine scores from multiple tests."

I did submit my application already in round 2. I had emailed earlier to let them know I was retaking the test and they said they'd consider my scores. But I ended up having to take the test a few days later than I had thought, and during that time was told my application was being processed. So, basically I'm not sure if I just made it, or just missed it. . .thanks so much for the advice everyone! I will call them (and all my other schools) this morning.

I was in a similar situation. I had to retake the GMAT and took it the day after apps were due. I spoke with Pat Deane (my application manager) via e-mail prior to this and she told me they will take the later scores. I just had to e-mail her my new scores, they 'made a note' on my app, and then when the report came in changed the scores officially on my application.

I only heard from them b/c I sent them my scores after the app date. Other than that I've no correspondence.

i think someone else posted this...but after you all submitted have you received any updates verifying the completeness of your app?? I just have an email saying "application submitted" on Jan 4...

After I submitted and received the first "your application is submitted email" I didn't hear anything else about my application until I received an interview invite.

been a lurker. in for R2.

well with all the snow.. i guess the schedule would be pushed to the left.. think about intense snow.. road blocks... highly likely that adcoms would take a day off.. so my guesstimate is that next week might be busy..

This is crazy.. They should come out with invites on one single day or may be on a much smaller period of say 2-3 days.. Except few no one cares it seems..

If your last name starts with an A-K, Pat is your application manager. She has been fairly sick on and off for the last two weeks.

I sent a couple of emails about a significant accomplishment that took place after submitting the application. Over the course of a week and a half I never received a response. Today, I called and Pat acknowledged the emails and said that they would be added to my file. She apologized for not responding sooner. Hope that helps.

I called the admissions office directly.
