Guys,
I am a round 2 applicant and have NOT heard back from my admissions manager yet. Is it normal? Have other round 2 applicants already got an email from their application managers?

If your last name starts with an A-K, Pat is your application manager. She has been fairly sick on and off for the last two weeks.

I sent a couple of emails about a significant accomplishment that took place after submitting the application. Over the course of a week and a half I never received a response. Today, I called and Pat acknowledged the emails and said that they would be added to my file. She apologized for not responding sooner. Hope that helps.

I called the admissions office directly.

Thanks & Kudos to your post! This was an enormous stress reliever for me, because I do fall into the exact category (my last name starts with an "h").

I do know that wishy-washy thinking does not go well with MBA applications, but still...can't help but wonder:

Is my application manager's illness THE REASON why I haven't received interview invite yet...?

"You have submitted your application to the MBA for Fall 2011. Your account manager will notify you via email once your application status has been changed.

If you need assistance or have any questions, please contact our office."

And my surname does not start with A-K :|

What exactly have the rest of you heard from your admissions manager?

Hey,

I haven't heard from Darden after the submission of application either. Any idea how long does it take usually for the application managers to revert back on the application status?

I am assuming they would inform us once the application has been deemed complete, or do they contact us only in the case of an interview invite?

Any clarification on this would be really helpful.

There is definitely more than one person working on our apps. I was only referring to sending in specific emails during this time. I doubt her sickness has any impact on when or if we will receive invitations to interview.

R1 admit here - the only emails I got from Darden when I applied was 1) the application was complete, 2) the interview invite, and 3) the acceptance. Hope this helps... Good luck everyone!

Hi there, I applied in the first round for Darden. I didnt receive much correspondence either. Just wait for the email, panicking wont help! Whats your profile? if you dont mind sharing.

Btw, I am new to the forum, what do the colors mean for each of the schools that you applied to? If red means dinged, then I am just curious to know why do you think you got dinged?

Hi indtous, where did you hear this information? As far as I know, all invites are on a rolling basis and there's no set date (yet) as to when the last invites for round 2 will end.

Earlier in the thread I stated that it seemed as though a good portion of them came monday to monday for Rd 1 but that is just an observation based on those in this thread. This could be totally off base and I am by no means an expert in the Darden AdCom process.
