During yesterday's hurdle about waiting to hear from MIT, I noticed that my status has not been updated in roll call. International applicant admitted in Rd 1 here. Good luck to all applicants in Rd 2.

I believe classes will start mid-August and preliminary (voluntary) classes (for those with limited business background) will start a week prior to the actual classes.

I'd say that if you get to C'ville by beginning of August, you should have plenty of time to settle down and explore a bit before school actually starts.

Hi, I just did a quick check on when Indian applicants started getting invites and the earliest reported date was Nov 30(and they started releasing invites mid-Nov). So we still have a week to go before really starting to worry! Be at peace for a couple of more days... :wink:

Heyy,

I am an Indian applicant as well, and haven't received even an application complete mail from my application manager. Have any Indian applicants received application complete mails already? Going by the previous posts I see that the interview invite is sent out only after the application complete mail.

Its been almost a month since I submitted my app so was wondering whether it was normal not to hear from them until now.

Neither did I. However, if I log in to the application tool, it reads "View your completed and submitted application". I know that other schools have a "Completed" email come out to you once they've verified all your documents, but I haven't heard of anything like that from Darden.

You have submitted your application to the MBA for Fall 2011. Your account manager will notify you via email once your application status has been changed.

Yes, that is the only mail I received after submission. I thought there would be another mail after they reviewed the completion of the app, as is done in a few other schools.

This clears my doubt. Thanks alot!

This is probably a really dumb question, but bear with me, I'm trying to make sure I have ALL my bases covered.

Darden ONLY sends out interview invites via e-mail, correct? I ask because I received 5 'unknown' calls to my iphone yesterday in the span of 5 hours. I know some schools have blocked numbers when they call, but that is usually only for admit calls.
