Do you guys think there is any assessment done on whether you attend the other events available on your interview date? I went to an open house there earlier this year so I spent like 6 hours talking to students, visiting classes, etc. so I feel like I already have a pretty good sense of the school. I'd prefer to be in and out, not attend another class or something like that, but I'm afraid they would sort of frown upon that. Anyone heard anything about whether or not that matters?
I would just do it. If you are serious about b-school whats spending the day at the school really going to cost you in the long run? But an easy way out without really looking bad is flight schedules. If the best flight ends up preventing you from spending the day there, I think you have an excuse that cannot impact your ability to attend negatively.
Darden is pretty big on fit, so I would do what I could to show that I fit in there and I want to be there for the next 2 years.
