I got an invitation to interview this morning around 11am EST. I'm on the West Coast.
Once you get the invite to interview, you have 10 days to schedule an interview if you want to continue with the application process. As of this morning, when I logged onto the portal, the last day open for interview was December 2.
Hi again. I've only interviewed at one school thus far (Tuck), so that's my only frame of reference. Any tips from current Darden students on what to expect from the Darden interview? Or also, can anyone compare a Darden interview to a Tuck interview if they've done both? I would expect them to be somewhat similar but any specifics would be shweet.
Thanks a lot.
And more importantly, good luck to everyone still waiting. It's still super early and it looks like they're just getting started trickling out these invites.

As far as I know, Tuck has a more traditional way of interviewing students - behavioral type (tell me a time...), talk about resume.
Darden, if it hasn't changed, does its interview more like a complete story-telling, beginning with interviewer's statement of "tell me about yourself". Surely, the interviewer will jump in when he/she has a question or wants clarification on something, but it's really a story that you're weaving together.
I just signed up for the open house that is on Thursday. I did not sign up for the diversity event, but just the traditional open house. The event starts at 7:30 and I was planning on leaving from Dulles area at around 5AM to make it. Does this seem insane? Should I just get a hotel closer to Charlottesville?
Also has anyone gone to the open houses in the past? Trying to understand what to expect.
Very friendly, collegial and standard set of questions, nothing off kilter. The interviewer was an AdComms personnel, with a second year interview trainee observing. However it was very friendly, and not a two person grill session
Overall great impressions, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l campus.
