Darden 2012 - Calling All Applicants

There is a group - "Darden MBA Applicants 2011-2012" in FB.

Got a ding from Darden last week, but was invited to interview for the Executive MBA program.

Just thought you guys might find it interesting.

Still waiting here too. Losing hope on a R2 interview!

I am waiting too...what is with Darden and Kellogg....too much waiting!!

I also got same thing last week. Don't know how to take it considering I am based in London.

So, no1 in the forum sees this info on the Darden portal? This is rather strange...

What round were you in? And did you interview for FT before getting that email?

No invites on here since Feb 20? Is this thing over? Is a ding email inevitable on Mar 28 at this point?

Im not gonna say be optimistic, but there was an invitation reported in the BTG yesterday.

R2. No interview for FT.

There was a dude in Round 1 who got invited to interview a week before decisions were released, and then was admitted.
I'd say you still have a shot.

As for Darden, how and when did you receive your information such as University/Computer/SIS IDs?

Is there anyone else not done with their interview?

I am scheduled to interview on Monday, and I was wondering whether Darden is still conducting a lot of interviews at this point in time. Hopefully, scheduling my interview at a later time doesn't put my app into a disadvantage.

Interviewing at a later time does not put you at a disadvantage. Case in point - I interviewed on a Friday, which is the last day of interview (decision comes out the Wednesday after). I got accepted, so I'd say the date of interview has no bearing on your candidacy.
