Is there anyone else not done with their interview?

I am scheduled to interview on Monday, and I was wondering whether Darden is still conducting a lot of interviews at this point in time. Hopefully, scheduling my interview at a later time doesn't put my app into a disadvantage.

Interviewing at a later time does not put you at a disadvantage. Case in point - I interviewed on a Friday, which is the last day of interview (decision comes out the Wednesday after). I got accepted, so I'd say the date of interview has no bearing on your candidacy.

Guys, as we mentioned before in this thread, invites are extended until the decision notification date. As I said before, I personally met R1 applicants who came to interview on December 19th and calls were made the day after for accepted applicants. They were invited couple of days before.

Thanks, I got a question for you...last week (around Feb.23) I got an email from the lady in charge of Consortium apps asking me to fill out a VA residency form and send it back to her as soon as possible. I did so the following day, but how would you interpret that? Is it that they didn't begin prepping my app for the adcomms until last week and its perhaps currently under review? I took it as a sign of hope that i'm still in the game,..but its been a week since i sent in the residency form.

Got a ding from Darden last week, but was invited to interview for the Executive MBA program. :(

Just thought you guys might find it interesting.

I also got same thing last week. Don't know how to take it considering I am based in London.

I dont know your specific situation.... unless you fit the exec MBA profile this isn't a great idea. Exec MBA programs are the cash cows for business schools. You most likely would be better off at another full time program.

Good question. I was invited to interview very late November, if not very early December.

I know it doesn't seem possible, but it does and will happen, albeit it's a very small population of folks who will get those invites.

Some of the applicants who were interviewed on December 19 were invited on Friday, December 16. Decisions were released on the 20. I hope that now it makes sense. And yes, as bakfed said, it indeed doesn't happen a lot... but it could.

For those who are interested, I was interviewed last Thursday (1st of March).

In my invitation email, it was stated that the interview had to be concluded by the 5th of March.

I see; did you have the monologue for half hour about yourself? I hear that is a popular format for Darden interviews. I wonder how I will be able to ensure that the interviewer is not bored!

What exactly would you like to know about it?
There are 3 - Math, Accounting and Excel. There's a module for each before the exam.

It's just a technical issue - it does not mean anything except the form was missing. Don't worry about it.
