Hey, I got admitted to John Molson and Degroote Co-op.
Which one do I choose?
I have 3.5 years of work ex in business development but I want to build a future in finance. I have completed Level 2 of CFA
I do not speak french.
Any opinion would be appreciated. Thank you.
Also, Congratulations to everybody who got admitted
Hey,
First of all congratulations for the admits. I can't tell you what to choose, but I'll try to give you some pros and cons, which might help you make your decision.
1. University Reputation - McMaster has a better overall ranking as a university and due to that it will have better international recongition. If you choose to work outside Canada, McMaster will be a better choice. Concordia is also great, but it is more relevant in Canada.
2. Program Reputation - John Molson's MBA program is higher in ranking than Degroote's MBA.
3. ROI - If finances is an issue, Concordia is a better choice and has a better Return on Investment.
4. Program Structure - Degroote's MBA with Co-Op program is the most unique program I have seen due to its multiple internships and networking opportunities. The program is also better in terms of curriculum
I hope it helps. All the best for your future.
