I applied and rec'd the fee reduction, but was still required to pay. Last time I checked, NOT being required to pay $125 is a good problem to have. I am jealous. Do you think they will end up making you pay at a later date, or just waive it?

I'm sure they will make you pay. Business school is still a business afterall.

For early action round, anyone has any idea whether ALL of the decisions, including admits and dings are emailed on Dec. 5th or whether the decisions start to go out a few days before that? Any current students who can answer this question?

I'm not a student, but I believe all decisions will go out on Dec. 5th.

There was a system error last year as well and I didn't have to pay anything. Also, it won't affect your application provided everything else is present.

I'm a current student and thought I'd log on to this puppy and see all the chatter.... to answer your question, last year admissions send out responses/ decisions to EVERYONE at the same time on the same day. A couple of years ago they sent out decisions a few days early, but last year they sent them out on the application response deadline day and I would expect it to be the same again this year.... so dont fret, one part of the application list wont hear sooner than the others.

I finished the self initiated interview in September and have submitted my application in Round 1. Does this mean that I won't come to know of my final outcome anytime before 1st February?

After weeks of hard work, I had finally applied by the R1 deadline. And now that I review my application again, I see that my responses in the "Leadership Experiences and Community Involvement" section have been truncated in the pdf. Probably because of the return keys I had used. (Not sure why I hadn't noticed it earlier...)

Is the application that goes to the adcom the same pdf?

Anything I can do now (after submission) ? Perhaps contact the adcom??

I am disgusted with myself right now....

You could try reaching out to the AD, but I would not beat yourself up over this. We all make mistakes, and I doubt that your decision at the end of the day will be swayed one way or the other by that specific section.

The Fuqua Admissions Committee is very receptive to requests to add information to your application package. You can call/email them, and then an Operations Coordinator will ask you to email them your updates. I did this when I had to update my resume due to a promotion.

Thanks guys.

I am dropping an email to fuqua-admissions to see if they can allow me to just take away those insidious return characters from my application.

If you can try to call them, it's easier to explain. You never know, maybe the AD have access to the full document instead of the printable PDF version.

Does anyone know when R1's will start getting interview invitations? (obviously does not apply to people who have already interviewed in the open period)
