I got in!!! All I can say is that it has been quite a journey! I applied to Fuqua EA last year, and got rejected (not even waitlisted). This year I tried again, and really focused on my reapplication essay. I did not take the GMAT again like many friends recommended, because I felt that one score didnt define my whole application. Here are my stats, which I didnt include this year. GMAT: 670 (Verbal 36, 78%, Quant 45, 74%) 3.5 GPA from Top 20 undergrad International work experience Good luck to all, and if you didnt get in this year, but really like Fuqua, you should always think about reapplying.

Congrats threestripes for admit! I noticed that you were W/L last year. Were you able to change something drastically in your application this year that you think helped you? Just curious You don't have to answer it now, you can open champagne first

My hands are still shaking so I would probably just spill the champagne... so I'll be hanging out here in the meantime. Well, I applied in R3 last year, which was application suicide. I think I was able to make a strong case for myself, which is why they put me on the waitlist. I was lucky enough to get a raise after I submitted my application in March 2011. And then in October, I was promoted (and got a raise again). On top of that, I ramped up my extracurricular activities. However, instead of volunteering just for the sake of volunteering, I absolutely made sure that these activities were relevant to my short and long-term goals. I can give you some more details if you send me a PM. I don't want to end up hijacking the thread talking about my "accomplishments".
