Invited with an email at 5:17 EST. Does anyone know the % of invited interviewees to accepts (excluding open interview period)?
Thanks,

This specific information is not shared with the public, so just assume that you have a 45-50% chance of being accepted.

Got my Duke invite as well today (which I'm very excited about)...But I'm a tarheel born and bred and proud UNC grad....so GO HEELS!

If I end up going to Duke for my MBA this could get very complicated allegiance wise.

Don't worry. I won't tell your Tar Heel friends that you have decided to root for the right team.

Go Devils!!!! They are going to need big games from Rivers and the Plumlees.

Got an invite, but I am from Durham and would be bleeding Duke blue either way. For all of you who have never been to Duke-Carolina, it is like a religious experience. Basketball is a terrible reason to choose a b-school, but as far as terrible reasons go, it is an awesome one.

This is actually the main reason why Duke was, is and will always be my first choice. It is worth noting though that I am in the sports industry. :)

Makes sense. I am an entrepreneur in the education industry, so I have no excuse at all.

For the international (or internationally-based) applicants on this forum, does anyone know what Duke does about hub interviews?

Invited to interview and feeling pretty good after Stern, Michigan, and Babson already said they wanted to talk to me. Much improved from R1 with H/S/Booth ding-donging me all day long. Looking forward to hearing from MIT!

^^^^This.... Go heels. Can't wait for the Tarheels to beat Duke tonight after the "no interview". Might give me some solace. My Tarheels exact some revenge for me.

That game was ridiculous. My little tarheel heart is in shock.

That being said the Duke/UNC rivalry is always so much fun to be a part of...Basketball is definitely a great bonus of going to either school. :-)

Fellows,

I read somewhere that Duke has three ways to conduct interviews:

1) On-campus: In Durham
2) Off-campus: In some hub locations such as Dubai, London etc.
3) Through Skype

So correct me if I am wrong: Duke does not conduct alumni interviews, am I right?

Then should I choose one of the three options above, or am I missing one?

I interviewed with an Alum in a hub location. I think interviews are conducted by Alumni in hub cities.

Anybody from India who has interviewed in India (whether with Ad Com or with alum) and is willing to help out? Please let me know and I will pm you.

Also, for all folks out there:

Do you think it is, in any way, safer to interview with Ad Com (those who make the trips to different countries) than with alumni (for reasons such as they are more invested in the future of the school and hence tend to probe much deeper/throw curveballs etc.)? I've read somewhere (may be on other threads) or heard people saying something to that effect. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Not jumping to any conclusion but for what it's worth, I didn't have a particularly great experience with the Ross alum and neither did I have a bad one. And I have been waitlisted.

If you go back to posts in late September/early October, I believe you'll see a comprehensive list of all the questions that have been asked in the past.

Quick question for the group: has anyone received the follow-up email that provides instructions on scheduling the interview yet?
