Hi

i was wondering if anyone can help me out with this. Do you know if we have to have our official GMAT score report from pearsons sent to the school before the round deadline for our application to make it within that round? or can it come a few days later? i took my test a while ago but I'm worried that my application won't make round 2 unless they have my official score report by tomorrow's deadline. thanks

btw, this is related to the Duke application, if anyone has any insight.

For applying, self-reported GMAT scores are sufficient. I guess this holds for other other schools as well.

Are you sure? I didn't think that the Duke application had any space to put your GMAT scores!

You might have confused it with the Ross application, which doesn't have a spot for the GMAT score on the application form

I had another question/thought for everyone out there about scholarships. Does Duke revisit award amounts later in the process. A lot of the people getting money there also have admits to higher ranked schools (Tuck, Kellogg, Booth, etc). Given Duke's relatively low historical yield it certainly seems possible that a number of these folks will opt to forgo the scholarship at Duke to attend the higher ranked program. In that case, do you think Duke ends up redistributing the dollars?

Don't forget about the waiting list. It is important to factor in the higher application numbers for next fall.

I just submitted for R2, with a whopping 5 minutes to spare.

I royally screwed up on the LOC essay, though. I completely underestimated the difficulty of that question and failed to give myself enough time to properly smooth things out.

Submitted mine at 4:15PM EST. Phew! My days of writing MBA applications are over. I just hope I get an admit from someplace.

The LOC essay got me too. Luckily I had a class of 2011 admit look at mine and give me some pointers. Hopefully I didn't botch it too bad.
