Their website states: You should apply during Early Action. If you're admitted, you commit to a binding agreement to attend Fuqua and must withdraw any applications submitted to other schools once you are offered admission to Fuqua.

What should I know about Early Action?

If you are interested in joining Fuqua and are ready for a decision, Early Action might be right for you. Before you decide, consider the following:

The Early Action option is ideal if you have completed your MBA research and have decided that this is the best program for you.
If you are admitted in Early Action, you need to submit a non-refundable tuition deposit along with official transcript(s) and official test score/s by December 2025.
If you’re admitted, you commit to a binding agreement to attend Fuqua.
You must withdraw any applications submitted to other schools once you are offered admission from Fuqua.
Scholarships are awarded according to the same guidelines in the Early Action round as they are offered in Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4; however, due to the binding nature of the Early Action round, you are required to attend with or without a scholarship award.

and if someone doesn’t bind and get offer from HBS
Will they sue legally?
Sue hbs or the student?

no one sues anyone - you forgo your deposit and it becomes a matter of ethics

The best practice is to mail the admissions team directly with detailed questions after researching the website, relying on advice on any forum is not ideal

Their team responds within a few days and you can use that opportunity to connect further with the school

I was curious since not many people apply for EA if there is a higher chance of getting accepted 🤔

yes - and that’s why it is a matter of ethics. Fuqua wants you to be absolutely sure that you will accept and join if they accept you in EA, otherwise apply in R1

I don’t think so. There’s anything like that. The only guarantee is interview . EA results come out in early December along with r1 results

If you have doubts about their procedure and can't find authentic sources, you can always drop an email directly to clarify. Refer to the resource tracker mentioned in the group description for email ids!

Hi guys,
There are multiple whatsapp groups connected to the same forum on GMAT club for fuqua - so polls, pins etc wont necessarily reflect everywhere. Additionally, essential questions that candidates may have may get missed out during such activities.
It would be best to kindly limit the forum to share information, ask questions, seek clarifications etc for everyone’s interest. Thanks for understanding!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree that the primary purpose of this forum should always remain to share information, ask questions, and support each other with application related queries.

But these kind of activities spark up further conversation! The idea behind the daily themes is simply to add a small dose of interaction (like quick polls or fun 1-liners) to keep the energy up during this stressful process, without overshadowing important discussions. These are supposed to remain minimal and not clutter the group.

If everyone feels strongly about keeping things purely informational, I’m happy to adapt and maybe limit these activities to once in a while instead of daily. What do you all think would strike the right balance?
