The current job market in the NL is extremely bad. The last to last year placements record was miserably low with a median pay of around 50K. Additionally, I am physician and want to work in pharma and RSM has almost no alums in pharma. Lastly, they offered a meagre scholarship of 5k, that’s why i rejected the offer.

Presently, I am based in Denmark. And I moved as my wife got a job here.

Hello all!
I am a 29 year old female content strategist (brand marketing & communications) with around 6 years of experience in the domain.
I have done my Master’s in English & Communication Studies from India and I have a score of 575 is GMAT FE.

I want to apply for International MBA in Rotterdam School of Management.
Can someone tell me what my chances are with the R3 admissions coming up this August?
Shall I consider a GMAT retake?

Hey everyone! How long does the adcom usually take to process applications? I’d be grateful for a rough timeline about how long each stage takes

Thanks for sharing. Do you know how's the job marker for 2025/2026? I am considering RSM MBA 2026 intake and also heard the situation has gone bad for more than a year.
I aim to work in tech, function: sales/marketing. I am 28 y/o female in tech and with 4+ work experience. And yes I have applied for US MBA, waiting for interview invites right now. I think I should apply for more schools, even not in the states.

Thanks!

Hey Justpolp,

I hope you are doing well.

Till November, there were hardly anyone got placed in the Netherlands from the batch graduating in Dec 2024. Unfortunately, I didn't follow-up after that due to my personal commitments.

As you are considering sales, it's extremely difficult to get into sales jobs if you don't speak, French+ Dutch+ German+ English. My suggestion would be to consider US schools OR LBS and Oxybridge.

P.S. I am joining Copenhagen Business School in the fall 2025 but my story is different as I am already based in Copenhagen and my targeted industry is healthcare.

Hi Drwazzz

Thank you so much for your detailed reply! I didn’t expect the placement record to be this tough. I speak English, Italian(though a bit rusty now), and Chinese, but it seems that’s not enough, given your experience.

I ruled out LBS and Oxbridge last year due to location—since I want to work in tech, these schools are undoubtedly esteemed in consulting and finance. However, in terms of ROI and placement records, their brand names may not carry as much weight in my targeted domain. This is why I have been considering the Netherlands. But after what you said, I will reconsider thoroughly and possibly add some more U.S. business schools to my list.

Thank you again, and I wish you all the best!

Hey, Wanted to know more about the BAT Assessment. I can see a brief over view (not clear) on what will be the syllabus. is it easier than GMAT/GRE? How can I prepare? Where can I get the resources for that?

Should I directly apply using the portal and take things forward? Is it that I will get contacted by the AdCom after I complete my application for scheduling BAT?

Hi PoeticArtillery,

What I would suggest you is continue your preparation for GMAT/ GRE and do take all (2-3) the mock tests that you will get once you enroll for BAT. I found a few cut-copy-paste in the actual exam from the practice tests. Additionally, BAT has its own OG, you can try that as well if you wish to practice more.
