It's Saturday after completing all my apps and was cleaning up the mess that my desk had become over the past few weeks and found some notes I had taken while visiting Sloan last fall that I thought might be of interest to people:

They get about 4,200 applications -> Invite about 1,000 candidates to interview -> Offer admission to about 550 -> Yield a class size of about 340

I think Sloan was the most forthcoming with its data, not sure what these statistics would look like for other schools...

I have the same question in mind. I have noticed that some schools send out interviews faster during Rd 2.

I wonder if that will be the case with MIT.

I just got my 'App Complete' e-mail from Sloan. It says interviews will occur in March, with notifications sent out starting late February.

Looks the same as last year.

I got the same email. I was surprised as many other schools will be in advanced stage of acceptance/interview before MIT even start rolling out the invites for interview.
