Folks who App'ed in R1, for the cover letter, did you adhere for the 500 words wordlimit for the cover letter for the "meat" of the letter only or did you letter including the body and addresses (business letter format items etc) were also counted in the word limits (500 words). My own address and other such things is coming to around 50 words and I am wondering if the body needs to be trimmed to 450? any ideas?

My cover letter was about 550 words (10 % over) not counting the greetings at the beginning & end and the address for Mr. Garcia. All my essays were 10% over the word limit. I received an interview inviation for R1.5 (LGO)

The Apply yourself of MIT is strange: - nowhere to put the details about EC - no salary - no job description/reasons for leaving - room for only 2 work experiences Well... I like it this way, it's faster to fill! Or, did I miss something? Edit: application submitted for round 2! Good luck everybody!
