I just checked my online status on Yale SOM site. It says "interview completed". I am assuming this is normal, but i have read posts saying that even you complete the interview, your status won't be updated. Um...not sure if this means anything.


Ok, i admit. I am super nervous!!! Friday seems so far away.

Invited on 1/22, interviewed on 2/18

Nothing yet from H/S, waitlisted at Tuck. High hopes for Yale! I love the program and think it's got good momentum.

agree with the friday seems so far away.. going to be a long week and the wait's only going to get worse once calls start going out whenever they do this week. atleast there's CL football to keep me from refreshing this page incessantly on tuesday and wednesday.

interviewed a long time ago but my status still doesnt have the tick mark next to interview completed. i know it doesnt really mean anything (or atleast not to us since we dont have the school's secret code for what diff statuses mean :lol: ).

Just got a call, I'm in too!!

Ivy/2 yr IB, interviewed with and rejected by all the other schools, realized I applied too early, but very happy about Yale :-D

They called my office actually......I was not expecting it and after She said she is from Yale SOM.. i thought she was going to request additional material from me, since it is not april 2nd yet. But it's a YES :)

anyways, it's so nice not to have to wait for April 2nd. Good luck everyone else.

Got an email (she said she had called before but I didn't see a missed call). She didn't mention any scholarship info though. Are we supposed to find that out later?

I got the news by email today that I have been admitted to the Yale SOM class of 2012!

choices choices....
Yale (without $$$?) or Kellogg with $$$

Any thoughts?

She didn't mention any scholorship information to me either. I was going to ask, but thought that it is best to wait, plus i was in my office and wasn't very convinient to talk. did anyone get scholorship information?

I was wondering about the money question too - the voicemail I got didn't say anything about scholarships or financial aid. Any idea where/when we get that info?

I'm in too!!!! I'm very excited, as I really liked Yale!

Also no word on scholarships/aid, which is unfortunate, as I have to make a decision about another school in the next couple of days.

hi everyone,

i just called the admissions office (bc i had missed their call) and they said if you were receiving a merit based scholarship, that they would have told you during the phone call. So if you haven't heard, most prob means you didn't get anything.

trendsetter - i have the exact same problem as you: no money at Yale, but $$ at Kellogg. Honestly for me, it's a no brainer. $$ is a big factor. Also, although my interest is in social enterprise and Yale is #1 for it, Kellogg has a really great program too, so I think I'll still be able to accomplish what I want there. Gluck with your decision!
