When does NYU officially post a status update for the Consortium? And how strict are they on the interview policy. Does no interview at this stage = definitely rejected?
RuniRuni - re Yale, see what I wrote a few posts back. I went through the Consortium 2010 thread, and Yale calls admits and emails rejects on the posted date, Feb.25th. If it's any consolation though, they seemed to start letting people know fairly early in the day as opposed to 5pm+
These schools don't even love me enough to send me my rejection letters already. They are probably like "ah..this applicant is not even worth the time it takes to send out a mass rejection letter"

I was doing some research and read that just because you don't get the interview before the diversity weekend, or by the consortium meeting, doesn't mean you are out of the running for NYU. As far as diversity weekends go, it sounds like a space issue. So there is hope!
They know I'm alive!!! Yes! NYU just updated my phone number that I requested back in January. I think the threatened march on Greenwich Village is working.
*NYU adcom if you are reading this know that I am joking.

That's like hitting a new low or something.
Anyone going to Toigo Banking is Back?

I'm dragging my feet on whether or not to attend, as I would have to spend a couple hundred dollars to travel to NYC the night before and stay at a hotel. The message from yesterday's Webinar is that you should attend regardless of whether you want a buy-side or sell-side job.

Its very possible it means being out of the running for the consortium fellowship though. But then again there are still chances for scholarships from NYU itself I guess. Gotta stay positive!!

Yeah same here. Spending that kind of money for the seminar is not in my best interest at the moment.
I'm in the process of printing my own NYU T-shirts so I'm kind of out of cash at the moment.

True Story...my friend got an interview invite like 2 weeks ago and couldn't schedule for Diversity Weekend because it was booked.
Has anyone heard ANYTHING from Darden. I would appreciate even a _____you from them at the moment, so at least I know that they received my application. Has anyone tried to contact these people?

for your friend's sake, it's probably better if he/she doesn't show. No telling what's going to happen when I arrive.

I have been following the Forum and finally decided to join in. Lagomez, if they don't have a tank top we will all order one for you.
On this end I have been going nuts. I am not sure what is worst, taking the GMAT or waiting for the committee's decision.

I wish I could tell you it gets better once you start school...but it doesn't. The only thing that changes is who you are waiting to hear back from (investment banking superday invite? Consulting 1st round interview invite? acceptance from that rotational program you applied to?). The fun never ends (I guess until you get a full time job your 2nd year)
