Guys: just received an email from Ross.......saying my decision will be available March 8th online.......Sounds like a big fat ding to me?!? lol. What makes it worse is the subject title was "Ross School of Business Decision". Cruel hahahaha

Anyone else get it?

this may or may not compare in terms of the freak-out factor, but a couple weeks after I got into Darden, I received an email whose subject was, "Admissions Offer Correction" or soemthing to that effect. I was like "holy crap! They changed their minds!"

kn, Darden is my #1. You got in? Did u apply via Consortium? Who did u interview with? I have not heard anything from them since I applied. Please shed some light on this...

kn, Darden is my #1. You got in? Did u apply via Consortium? Who did u interview with? I have not heard anything from them since I applied. Please shed some light on this...

@forumaddict, I applied Consortium R1 and I heard on 1/11. I know a bunch of R2 applicants who haven't heard anything either, so don't worry. I have a suspicion they'll be calling admits with fellowships in the next week. (Just based on what other Consortium fellows from last year have told me.)

Hang in there Coop. Yes, this is the best thread...only the finest fabrics in here. I would offer my wisdom, this being my second attempt at this process (and not completely unsuccessful on my first). Take a religious/spiritual approach to it. Whatever is meant to be will be. Now don;t get me wrong...if Lagomez would have shown up naked at today's meeting, he/she would have definitely received an admissions decision on the spot, regardless of the adcom's predetermined decision. However, if you have done all you can, then F--- whoever does not accept you. It's their loss. Why would you want to be part of an institution that doesn't want you?--you don't. I'm in your shoes to the extent that I have not heard anything from Darden, but since I went to church today, and considering also creating a mini Darden voodoo doll of Sara Neher :shock:

, I'm sure the chips are going to fall where they are meant to be. JK about Sara. She seems really nice and has a great modern hairdo.

LMAO at great modern hairdo. I considered locking them in whatever conference center they were w/out food or water until they just said yes to whoever wanted a yes. But that seemed rather intricate and I can't afford a flight to st. louis right now. so ... i guess i'll wait.

Anyways, back in reality land:
