I brokeit, I think that UNC has notified some Consortium R2 admits who are receiving school-sponsored scholarships, but that the rest of the Consortium admits should be notified next week.

160 K in loans is a lot of money considering my career plans post MBA. I won't be able to pay back the money...furthermore, i see my friends right now in sooo much debt after paying to go to ivy leagues schools and now they are unemployed. BTW private loans you have to keep paying, employed or not....


I am seriously considering not going to bschool if i dont get money. I am going to a non lucrative field out of the US. Paying back money in dollars will almost be impossible

Yale has a loan forgiveness program in case that's one of the schools you got accepted by - if you work in non-profit, government or social enterprise and make below a certain amount (it is about 80k right now but gets adjusted for COLA and dependents) they will send you a check for your loan payments.

Although I have been admitted to some school, I need closure from all the other schools. This process is like the end of a relationship, when you know that things are over, but you sill have to hear the words lol.

I need closure....

Nope, I actually got the fellowship from Cornell, but was admitted to Yale (#4), but maybe Yale will still offer some sort of scholarship.
