Congrats to all the admits!!!! I have been following this blog hourly for the past few weeks. It has really kept me smiling during these stressful times, thanks! Although, I am a little discouraged with my results...

yale- WL
cornell- ding
NYU- ding
Tuck- WL
Haas- ding with interview, was my 1st choice :(
Ross- interviewed, last hope

I am a white female and applied through the Consortium as I am very devoted to its mission; I left my job in economics to pursue development work in Africa. Also, the Consortium seemed like a great option financially. Now I'm wondering if the Consortium was a bad decision for me.

Lets hope that Ross works out for you. I hate the fact that schools get to see how we rank them.

no word from nyu yet....

just got an offer to go to our mumbai office. I'm thinking this could pump up my resume for next year's application...

ugh!

Has anyone to applied r2 to nyu gotten dinged without an interview ?

@primenumber: it is def a crazy feeling! I was on the verge of a mini panic attack earlier thinking what I would do if “I didn’t even get cgsm membership” lol

@kn2130: Thanks! Funny you say that…I just got back from a 7-day “team building” trip and they are def down to 1 strike lol it’s going to be a loooooong 5 months!

Worst news in my application. Possible nightmare story:

I had Ross as one of my consortium application. They acknowledged receipt of my application on Jan-12 in my @gmail account.
This was the email I used for all my b-school applications, honestly, it is the only email I use besides the work email.

Well, on Jan-25, Ross emails me to schedule an interview on my @hotmail account. I never used that @hotmail account since College, 2 years ago. Tonight, I went back to this email because a friend told me she sent something for me, and guess what, I saw all the emails Ross sent me about my interviews, and that Tuesday I will know my faith. FML.

I email the people from Ross but now all its done. I ranked Ross 3rd, and my number one Yale waitlisted me. Now I m officially done. I m sure the other schools now must thinking I didn't even care about them either.

Oh well...I am totally done.

The worst part of the story is I kept receiving other advertising emails from Ross in my @gmail account. Never they tried to reach me, call me, email the account.

I don't know if they will even consider my application that late in the process.

Not all schools required an extra interview after the consortium one, - and there's always next year!

Yes, this is very undesirable situation but it's not your fault! They acknowledged your application on your gmail account yet sent an invite to your hotmail account? a completely different account? That was a big mistake on their part. I would contact them (call) ASAP on Monday and tell them the situation. That is ridiculous and you shouldn't have to lose your chances as a student there this year because of it. They like you enough to want to interview you so they should be willing to interview you ASAP.

I am a long-time lurker but wanted to share the news

I am in at Tuck with the Consortium fellowship! For a while I thought I would not get in anywhere. Here is my rundown

Yale and Texas - waitlisted
NYU - I have not heard anything
Ross and Darden- interviewed

Still waiting on a few school outside the consortium. I am super psyched at this moment.

Congrats! We could be potential classmates :)

Not sure if it necessarily means they did not admit you...could be they admitted you, but didn't offer you the cgsm fellowship (which still leaves the possibility open that they could have offered something else, never know). Guess you won't know until you get the official word from the schools

I didn't apply to NYU, but I'm curious....looks like they called admits about the fellowship this year, but I didn't get the impression that they did last year. If you didn't get the call by now, is it safe to say its probably over?

Thanks...Emory technically wasnt my top school. But it is hard to turn down this type of money and take loans instead. Are you planning on going to Welcome weekend? Still waiting on Ross right?

Yea I know they called all the admits on Friday to congratulate us and they told me that potential scholarship/fellowship info would be in the official letter. I know someone from round 1 who got the fellowship but I don't think he heard about it via phone. Someone from rd 2 apparently did get a call but I don't know anyone else who heard about fellowships via phone and I know about 10 ppl who got accepted this week.
