Has anyone seen the new rankings published by US News? I think they came out today...

yeah shows how much we should be reading into the rankings huh? i think it mentioned that what we don't know is the.. dare I say it... standard deviation was?

Oh man - just got into Kellogg! Real happy, but now this def complicates my Consortium decision. UVA is an awesome school I like and is offering the fellowship and Consortium membership witha bunch of awesome people but I also really like Northwestern (they haven't said anything about $$) and it's def higher in the rankings. Gonna be a tough choice. Wharton may come along and complicate things even further next Thursday

Good luck with Wharton. Hey, not that you are asking for my opinion but UVA with a fellowship is hard to beat. I'd take UVA. Now, if Wharton comes along I'd have to take Wharton. Of course, depends on your career goals. My career goal is submitting a Consortium app every year so any school will work for me.

MLT= Management Leadership for Tomorrow https://www.ml4t.org. It was on the CNN Blac in America special last summer. They have a program which coaches underrepresented groups through the MBA application process.

I thought MLT was something greek. Anyone know when the consortium is mailing out these packets? I'm leaning towards the school that didnt give me a fellowship, but i still wanna be down with the Consortium and OP.

Hey guys,

I just spoke to the consortium peeps and I have some info to share:

About 2/3 of applicants will be getting letters this week. The other third are people who have not been admitted to one of their member schools, or people with incomplete information (namely, the Consortium hasn't received decisions from all their schools).

Also, regarding OP, if you receive membership and/or a fellowship, your accomodations and all meals will be covered and your travel up to $300. These arrangements are made once you send back some documents we receive in our packets AND the school confirms that a deposit was made for enrollment. Regarding travel, sounds like we are given info for the Consortium travel group.

I hope this information is helpful instead of throwing people into a spin.
