Oh man - just got into Kellogg! Real happy, but now this def complicates my Consortium decision. UVA is an awesome school I like and is offering the fellowship and Consortium membership witha bunch of awesome people but I also really like Northwestern (they haven't said anything about $$) and it's def higher in the rankings. Gonna be a tough choice. Wharton may come along and complicate things even further next Thursday
I'm a FS recipient at Darden. You're crazier than Charlie Sheen if you decide to pay to go to Wharton.

Haha I appreciate the brutal honesty. That was kind of my line of thinking too - but I haven't been counting on any outside financial support until now I have a "rich uncle" of sorts who has decided he's willing to pay some of my tuition, so that's part of where the complications stem from too

Did UCLA call the admits, or just sent an email to both admits and dings? I have not received an email to check my status. I am freaking out because UCLA was my first choice, but I assume I'm going to be dinged since Cornell gave me the fellowship.

Mailman just arrived and no Consortium Letter. ARRRR the waiting continues. I might be part of the 1/3 that will have to wait for Darden and UNC to make their final decision.

Guys, I have a question for you....

So I was accepted in Dartmouth (Tuck) with the consoritum fellowship.
Ross (I have not heard anything on the money fron)
Chicago (Booth) - I was accepted with $15k per year

This is a tough call but wanted to hear your thoughts.

I really dont see a tough call there grems.I will go for Tuck with my eyes closed ! I believe that if you have a full ride at any top 15 school its way more valuable to getting in and paying for H/S/W . school is only one piece of the career puzzle.It gets you through the door the rest is up to you . I met a graduate from Kelley who was given the maagement of a 7Billions investment funds over H\S\W graduates. But hey then again its just ny opinion .

I received the email 7.15am ET. I'm guessing it's a ding cus I didnt even get invited for an interview and ranked UCLA 4th.
Looks like you got into Gtown with $$. Leaning towards Gtown?

CB4 - Yes, I got about half tuition from Georgetown, but the fellowship from Cornell, so at this point it looks like I'm going to Cornell.

Just because they didn't tell you over the phone that you got a scholarship doesn't mean they won't give you anything. Wait until you get that official letter. I'm all for going where you connected the most. if you're going to pay to go to school, it better be worth your time and in a place you like. What do you want to do?

So I received the UCLA email saying that the decision was available online. I login, but it's nowhere to be found. I email Anderson, and I get a follow-up email titled "Decision Availability: Correction," and then "You may have recently received an email notifying you that a decision was available for your Consortium application. This email was sent in error. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. An admissions decision will be available for all completed applications on March 30, 2011."

Did this happen to anyone else? I know others have been admitted, waitlisted, and denied, so this is strange that they aren't letting every Consortium applicant know at the same time.

I got an email this morning from ucla saying there was an admissions decision on the website and the email provided a pin #. I needed a password to login, but I had never received any communication from them prior to this. So I chose the reset password option and got an email at my account I listed in my consortium application. I was able to login once I reset the password there was admissions decision waiting for me.
