A: The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management is the country’s preeminent organization for promoting diversity and inclusion in American business. Q: How does the application process for the Consortium differ from a regular school application? A: Common Application - One application allows you to apply to up to six Consortium schools. (University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill requires that all applicants submit both The Consortium application and the UNC application) Tiered Application Fee - Using The Consortium common application significantly reduces your application fee costs. Additionally, each member school you are applying to requires at least 1 separate, school specific essay. Interviews - There is 1 common Consortium interview that you must schedule with either a Consortium Alum or a representative at a Consortium School. So I FINALLY got an email from UT-Austin confirming receipt of my application. It appears they were experiencing technical difficulties in transferring the consortium applications to their own application system. User IDs and account log-in information should be sent soon....they'll be releasing decisions by the end of the month.

Rd2....got the UT email that they finally processed app cuz of tech diff b4....they said decisions will be made by end of the month....anyone know if UT uses the Consortium interview as the interview or we have to wait for interview invites?!

@kn2130 you are so right! I finally feel like all the work put into the gmat, application, essays, etc paid off. Now I can REALLY say with confidence, all it will take is the wrong person, on the wrong day @ the job....and.....the rest will be history lol
