First time poster.

Any news from Haas post-interview? Anyone have any intelligence whether Rd2 (Jan) Consortium applicants will be considered part of the Rd 2 pool of regular applicants? (I.e., notification by March 3)

@kn2130 you are so right! I finally feel like all the work put into the gmat, application, essays, etc paid off. Now I can REALLY say with confidence, all it will take is the wrong person, on the wrong day @ the job....and.....the rest will be history lol

How did you rank Emory?

#1 (Emory, Michigan, Yale, UT, Indiana). I really wish I would have put Michigan first, but we'll see what happens!

Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't introduce myself before. My name is ForumAddict and I am from planet MBA Admissions Speculations. I wish everyone here the best of luck with your applications.
I interviewed at UNC this week and it was very nice. The people are smart and down to earth. I think I would be a good fit there. (Don't you all just love that amorphous, nebulous, meaningless term--"fit"?). Especially when an adcom member says "I just don;t think Jane would be a good fit here".

Question; Have any of you, consortium applicants, heard anything from Darden? Even a simple confirmation email. (you think they would be technologically advanced enough to shoot out an automated series of acknowledgement emails).

According to Peter Aranda's blog, the Consortium draft is the first week in March. If I receive that call from a school, with $$, I'm not sure I will be able to remain continent (so I will bring a change of clothes that day)!

LOL@ technologically advanced. Hilarious! I won't judge...I don't know the process for transferring consortium applications over to their system. Oh, and I didn't apply to Darden so I can't help you by answering the question either

But I can recommend Depends diapers! If an astronaut can make it from Houston to Orlando without major incident, I'm sure they'll get you through the work day :lol:

What do you mean Darden sent out all of their invites? (non-consortium invites?) I have heard that Darden's Consortium applicants may be admitted on the basis of their consortium interview alone.

Busy bee, if you have a full ride to UNC, why are you still on this forum? I would be gearing up for Chapel Hill..., but if you like the suspense of this forum that much, you should consider starting your own reality show of funny MBA applicants and all of the neurotic behaviors the exhibit while they wait for their golden tickets!

Sorry, I'm just going off of the e-mail that I received below. If you don't get an interview that's ok, but if you get one that's a good sign. Hmm, so if i don't get one is that a negative sign or is it really okay? I think that the invites went out already, don't hate me!

"In some cases where a Consortium applicant has interviewed elsewhere, we may be in touch with you for an in-person interview or telephone follow-up discussion. These invitations will be going out shortly. You should interpret this interview invitation as a positive sign. If you receive a Darden specific interview invitation, we encourage you to schedule it quickly. It will help us in having your application reviewed post-interview in time for the Consortium Fellowship Selection meeting scheduled March 1. If you are NOT contacted for a Darden interview, it means that we have all the information we need to help us make an admissions decision. Admission decisions will officially post with Darden's Round 2 decisions, March 24. However, if the Consortium decides to release fellowship decisions before that time, we will notify of admission before the Round 2 decision date."
