Thanks. I didn't get a submission acknowledgment or anything. I submitted through the Consortium on 1/3, I believe. My stats are 750/3.9 at a big state school just outside the top 50 nationally (we'll crack the top 50 one day  )/2 years of big 4 consulting prior to matriculation.

Hey all! This is my first post, but I've been following the forum for quite some time. Please add me to the roll call for R1 (reapplicant).

Atomic,

Nice to see someone from Denver applying. I went to CU for my undergrad. Have you looked into the strength of the Tuck network in the Denver area? I think there are a surprising number of Tuck alums in the metro area. Good luck with your applications. Just a little over two weeks until we hear something.

ATLapplicant,

I met a Ross alum in Denver who mentioned a strong contingent of alumni from various top programs, and Tuck in particular. I've met people from all kinds of backgrounds who all moved here by choice for more or less the same reasons (mostly skiing). It's a great city.

Best of luck to you as well. Here's to a phone call on the 3rd...

Most probably they'll just phone admitted students several days before deadline.

Thanks. End of Jan is like 5 days away and I have not received any information. I will probably mail Ad com next week if nothing happens, would you agree?

There is no need for that, because at deadline everyone's status will be updated in application interface. We still have plenty of time for freakin' out :)

turjom111,

Nov Round decisions are released on Friday, Feb. 4th. If you didn't self-initiate an interview or receive an invitation to interview by now (and you applied in the Nov. Round), then your chances of being admitted are slim. Tuck interviews 100% of admitted applicants. I'm not sure if they'd waitlist someone who hasn't interviewed.

If past practice is any indicator, Tuck will call admitted applicants on Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday of next week. All decisions (admit, deny, WL) are released online some time on Friday, 2/4/11. I would assume all decisions will be posted no later than by 5:00 p.m. EST a week from this Friday.

Good luck.

Obviously not many people go back to read some of the prior posts so here goes once again:

1. Everyone will find out something by decision day. If you were accepted, as the previous poster said, you will probably get a call Wed., Thurs., or Fri.

2. If not called you will get a waitlist or a ding by 5:00 PM EST on the decision day

3. If not interviewed by now, very slim chance of getting an interview however Tuck does do waitlists without interview.

4. Don't bother sending an email for status check.

I'm in Rd 3. I interviewed and visited Tuck for the first time last week. It was crazy busy, but I really enjoyed the campus and the community. Mid-March can't come soon enough

Agreed, I feel like I've been waiting forever and it's still well over a month away!!

I'm glad I got all my stuff done early (interviewed in December).. but now there's really nothing to do except sit and wait anxiously.

Also... do you mean Jan Round? I guess that is technically their 3rd round, I just view it as R2 since it's in line with everyone else's R2.

I think Nov. round applicants have it the worst. Without looking, I think there are more days between the due date and the decision date for that round than for any other, thanks to the holidays. If you also consider that a sizeable portion of Nov. Round applicants may also get WL, the wait really is brutal.

For those who were waitlisted in the EA Round, when are you expecting to hear whether you've been admitted or released from the waitlist? I know they say you can remain on the waitlist through the summer, but I thought they inform some applicants by the next decision date in order to better manage their numbers.

I think I heard maybe March at the earliest but odds are May - July. I think that's what I read somewhere from one of the waitlisters.
