I applied to Tuck in the January round, and was interviewed off campus in January. I have yet to visit the Tuck campus. Does anyone think that by visiting Tuck, I would signal to the AdCom that I am serious about their school, and therefore it would strengthen my app?

At Tuck's Diversity weekend, Dawna and Karen made it clear that they encourage all applicants to visit the campus.

Hanover is nice this time of year.

It seems to be fairly quiet all around. I wonder if this is the calm before the storm. I've sort have begun to become a bit more zen about all of this. My own neuroticism has kind of worn me out.

Are the interviews conducted blind? I mean does the interviewr have any information about the candidate.

Well it is the third round... A lot of applicants already went through the motions already, and are either waiting for results or already got them. Waitlisters won't hear for a while, so what's there to talk about?

Thanks! :)

Though I love the community at Tuck (and it's ranked higher), I am currently leaning toward Stern for personal reasons and its strength in finance. It'll be a tough decision in the end. Where are you with your application?

Yes I agree with your comment on Tuck tight knit community. I had planned to apply at Tuck in R2, but could not finish up essays, so I had to make R3. The problem is my interview was complete in October, and it is a big gap in between interview and decision date. We will see how this turns out.

Waiting on few such as Ross, Haas and of course Tuck. Next 2-3 weeks should be exciting and nerve-racking here on GC. :?

Stern is a very good school. I wish you good luck wherever you decide to go for your MBA.

I have got an interview invite yesterday and was interviewed today.

The interview was via skype and lasted for 45 minutes.
The interviewer was very nice and friendly. I was like making a mock interview with my friend.

please help

1.After the interview I have sent the interviewer a "thank you letter", but, damn :x I have misspelled the interviewer's name :oops: :oops: at the very begining of e-mail.

Now I am worried whether to send back an excuse letter or just ignore this fact and wait for final decision.

2.Do the Adcoms release decisions just before the deadline or asap after the interview?

Tuck is my first choice school so I will pay the deposit next day after receiving the admission result!

The interviewer will definitely notice that, but it wouldn't put you on the "deny" pile IMO. I wouldn't send a follow-up unless the misspelling caused the name to sound something else (jack vs. jerk) or you put down a completely different name altogether.

Guys, you may know from previous years.

What is the success rate after being interviewed at Tuck? Some schools admit from 40% to 60% of interviewed folks.
I am wondering what is the historical "after the interview" acceptance rate for Tuck?
