Calling All Fall 2011 Dartmouth (Tuck) Applicants

Yeah doesn't look good at all. But does it mean there are no admissions from this round. Cant be huh?

I refuse to accept that no one is being accepted from round 4 due to over capacity. If that were the case then why even encourage students to apply this round? Unless none of the rd 4 applicants on this forum have gotten a call. Highly unlikely scenario too. Any movement on their FB page?

I think you are correct. Tuck would look bad if they don't get anyone in round 4 after encouraging students to apply. I would ignore the FB page. I think the 2012 page has well over 250 members so that's not the best indicator. Plus, why drive yourself nuts?

Alright seriously, i can hear the crickets! I need Darth Vader's mind controlling tricks. I look at the phone, use the force and then flashes that number across my phone's screen.

I think they just want to wait to call me a 4:59 and say "just wanted to keep you on your toes... congrats!".. orrr not....

Decisions are posted... didn't get an email like the rest of the program... Darn.. :

Rumour has it tuck is oversubscribed again this year....so i am not sure how that played in round 4 decisions. I would think very few folks were admitted in round 4. Tuck is not a school you want to apply in the last round. esp in the last couple of years....

It's a bad sign when they are paring back the waitlist... I suppose the good news is that they are actually providing tangible information. Anybody else receive this email?

From the AdCom:
We are writing to update you on the status of Tuck's waiting list this year. We received an exceptionally high response to our offers of admission and are currently at full capacity. In light of our high response, we have reduced the size of our waiting list. However, you have been selected to remain on our reduced waiting list. If we were to make offers from the waitlist, we would do so in June or July, depending upon the size of our incoming class at that time.

On behalf of all of us in admissions, we sincerely appreciate your interest in Tuck.
