I received a Skype interview invite with a second year to complete before nov 16th.
As I am in Western US I was wondering why only skype was offered.
I am considering emailing and asking if on campus is possible.
As Tuck is my number 1 choice I dont mind the cost.

Please let me know if this is advisable to ask.

however my application status has not been changed.
is it normal?
any opinions what to wear on the internet interview? :)

Business formal would be my guess. With skype I think it would be harder to connect on a personal level.
So worried.

I am guessing Skype Interviews are offered because there are no alumni in the area?

Just received my skype interview as well - US citizen in Shenzhen (China).

I'm also wondering if it would be more beneficial for me to try and look for a face to face interview instead of a virtue one. Has anyone in the past experienced a skype interview with a 2nd year? Also, does Tuck's 2nd year student interview throw oddball questions at you or is it pretty friendly?

In the past, Tuck adcom was known for traveling around the world just to conduct admissions interviews. In fact, this is the first time I heard of them doing a skype interview - is this a new practice or does it always offer two alternatives (skype or face-to-face)?

Last year I did a phone interview; it was even worse, the call dropped twice!! :oops: :(

In the past, I heard that Tuck adcom traveled to selected cities around the world to conduct interviews. Obviously, these candidates who live in places they don't travel to, get invited for phone interviews.

Has anyone so far received a face-to-face interview invite (not on campus, but in other locations)? If not, perhaps the invites are going in phases...(first phone interviews, and then face-to-face invites)?

Hello Guys,

I am an international applicant, got my skype interview invite from Tuck a couple of days back. A second year student would be conducting the interview, I have to send him my resume, I was wondering if he would have read my application or not?

Are we supposed to answer with different examples of teamwork/leadership etc , or can we use the same ones we used in our essays.

Well have 2 questions around the application

1. The scholarship essay - do we have to get this in by the application deadline or there is some buffer period.

2. The form for Financial aid(international applicants) - we dont need to fill that in right now correct???

I already interviewed. My interviewer only had my resume and haven´t read my application. I think it is like that for everyone.

I would say that you should use the examples of your essays because they are looking for consistency. For example, in the essays they ask you for a major challenge and how you overcame it, I think that you should answer the situation of your essay.

They ask a lot of teamwork (how do you work in teams?, situation of a team that didn´t succeed?, what would your team say about you?... etc).
