They were ranked 3 of 5 for my CGSM. Got dinged at #1 Haas, still waiting for #2 Tuck decision, #4 UCLA still waiting, #5 UNC live interview just yesterday.

Now..... SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!

Posted from my mobile device

Congrats to both of you guys! I guess I'll see you both at Admitted students wknd!!! I ranked Emory 3/5 as well. I guess we'll see how they feel about it in a week or so.

I ranked them 4/4. I know where I'll probably attend, but The consortium fellowship is definitely going to have a huge influence on that decision.

Does anyone know the exact date of the draft and when decisions will be mailed out? When I ask adcoms, they say "early to mid march" but no one will say exact dates. I've seen March 12, 15, and 19.

Im getting nervous. No acceptances yet. I got rejected by my undergrad alma mater and a few days later they called asking for an alumni donation. I was so angry that I told the girl off. Now today Emory has waitlisted me. This is not a confidence builder. I really want to go to business school this year but these schools are giving me a hard time.

My GMAT score was on the lower end of 600 but I applied anyway. I applied to 13 school to diversify the risk and now I am waiting to hear from 5. My Northwestern interview was my best interview and my interviewer said that he was going to recommend me. But the thing is that I don't know if it counts for much since they interview everyone. Tuck also looks like they interview everyone, so an interview invite does not really count for much. God, please don't forsake me.

Tuck, Darden, Kellogg, Fuqua, and Wharton please bring me good news. I am desperately in need of good news.

Atleast you landed an interview w/ Wharton man,..that sure would be a confidence builder for me. I got a straight ding from those guys. In any case, I think they're still a few of us who haven't gotten admits yet. I just got waitlisted at haas, and Ross was my only interview besides Tuck. Haven't heard from Darden, but so far i'm 1 for 5 with interviews. But it certainly could be worse. I too want to go to school this fall in the worst way,..but if I don't, its not the end of the world. Still got my health atleast.

Oh, and congrats to everyone who got admitted this last couple of days!

Does anyone know if the schools subsidize any or all of the costs associated with OP? $1,400 for the hotel room ($700 double occupancy) and approximately $400-$600 for the flight. Not to mention the fact that many of the schools want their first or second deposit on or around June 1, which will be around $1,000-$1,500!

On top of asking Adcoms for an exact date, I also asked the Consortium, I literally heard the lady who answered the phone ask somebody "are we allowed to tell them?" and then she told me we would be notified via mail in mid-late March. booooo. I've heard that March 19th is the date for when they are snail-mailing decisions a lot too, so i'll be expecting to hear something around March 22nd. That's only two weeks away, so I think we'll survive.

Hi Ketchup, haven't seen you on the forum before, welcome.

I see you had some GREAT success with you Consortium schools. Curious, since you're admitted to such a wide-range of b-schools, what are you going to do if, say, your 5th choice ends up being the school that offers you the fellowship...would you still consider going to Tuck instead, or take the fellowship?

According to last year's thread, the Consortium picks up the tab for OP if you are a student who either has membership in the Consortium or received one of the fellowships. They cover lodging and meals, and cover up to $300 of the travel or airfare expenses. Students last year had to make their flight reservations with the Consortium travel agency to get that benefit, I believe.

I was told by the consortium rep for Kelley that they are snail mailing everything on the 19th too. I cannot wait!

Will ranking Tuck #1 be a boost in terms of admissions decision? This whole ranking sensitivity thing is still murky for me.

At a school like Tuck, I'd say maybe a tad, but not so much. They expect to be #1 or #2 in most people's rankings. So I'd say ranking them highly just keeps an applicant in the mix more than anything. Ranking them low would be quite possibly an automatic DING. Has anyone heard of any Consortium applicants ranking them #3 or lower and getting accepted? I almost applied and ranked them 4th, but that seemed pointless, so instead I ranked Haas 4th, which was equally as pointless. lol

question for the Goizueta admits- did you notice that the deposit deadline given in the email is sooner than the consortium deadline?... i am wondering if this indicates i have not been selected for fellowship??
