Any Emory applicants going to their Supersaturday this weekend? Or schedule their interview for this weekend? I was late to finding out you can either schedule your interview yourself or wait for an invite.

thanks, senator.... btw, your blog is pretty awesome. it looks even cooler on an ipad (vs. the computer)

Thank you Army,

After pressing a lot of you all to emerge from the shadows I decided to take my own advice and take my (extended) thoughts public. Be sure to keep up-to-date. I've already gotten 200 hits inside of 15 hours so hopefully it catches on and can help a few people a long the 'Road to the MBA Class of 2014' :)

Echoing TheSenator's earlier post about Haas... I will also be attending Super Saturday and am open to sharing a cab/hotel with a fellow gmatclub'er in order to cut costs. Visiting so many schools is getting expennnsive!!

PM me!

just received an interview invite for Cornell.....

i applied round 2, in case anyone is wondering.

You have me checking my gmail every 5 minutes! Cornell is my #2 choice :-D

But in all seriousness, I already stopped worrying. After my interview with Kelley and an invite from a non-consortium school, waiting has become more fun

Good evening Consortium Forum Members!

I want to start by recognizing that we hit 50, yes 50 confirmed applicants for the Consortium MBA class of 2014. Give yourselves a pat on the back! Second, I'd like to make three requests of forum members as we get deeper into the interview/admit cycle.

1) Please keep your profiles updated with status updates (ie Interviewed, Invited, Accepted, Ding). This will help us accurately track statistics. Also if you haven't already please be sure to add all schools you are applying to and any applicable stats, if you desire.

2) As you peruse other forums and you notice other members saying phrases such as 'applied thru Consortium' please be an ambassador for our community, reach out to them and encourage them to join the conversation over here. I know many of us get excited when we hear a fresh voice.

3) Many people are getting invited to interview, and will be interviewing soon. Of course you can post to let everyone know what's going on (please do). After your interview, if you feel compelled to do so, PLEASE do not hesitate to post a debrief of your experience(s) and/or recommendations on what to do if you did an on campus interview. This is a new and ambiguous process for most of us, myself included, and any bit we can do to help each other would be appreciated.

Thank you all... and for much of the northern part of the country, enjoy the winter blast (or not)!

Just got an interview invite from Yale! Going broke flying to the east coast, but hey it's worth it!

Where are you flying out to New Haven from? I asked to do the interview closer to home in Southern Cal. I'm hesitant to fly out East in the middle of winter and risk missing extra days from work. Plus, bschool is expensive! :)

After I wrote that I realized I would be in Boston the last weekend in January so I'm actually just going to take a train to New Haven and kill two birds with one stone.

I tried to schedule other activities but was told I'd get an e-mail a few days beforehand with an agenda they will establish for me... Ok?

And yes school is expensive. One of my upcoming blog posts is going to be focused on the Cost-Benefit of b-school and b-school as a business.

fyi, there's also a megabus now that takes you from Boston to New Haven. I like how they started running this route AFTER I left college.

Anyone else's Yale application proof missing information and look off?

mine is really off, I dont think a single line of my information is correct, other than my name...
it says the submission date was dec 25 (i submitted to consortium jan 5th) my graduation date is wrong, it says scores and transcripts were not received, didn't have an address for me, etc.

But the email yale sent said that the data was not supposed to be correct. The log in should just be used to check the application status.
So nothing to worry about, does make me a little nervous though.

I looked into the bus option, however it was more expensive that taking the train and took an hour longer. So it was a no brainer. I'll be arriving on the 29th of Jan. interviewing on the 30th, flying out that afternoon.
