I forgot to post, but I've been accepted! applied Jan 4th. Interviewed in December. I applied last year and was on the waitlist until school started fall 2011. Talk about some long awaited validation!

My wife and I visited Tuck Friday / Saturday to see how it felt to be there as an admitted student. Didn't tell anyone we were coming, just showed up to see how we fit in and what it was like. We planned to use the weekend to evaluate, but after a couple hours on Friday night (at Tuck tales) it was impossible not to accept my place as a T14. Everyone was so amazing and welcoming - it really is a special place.

I can't wait to meet many of you at ASW!

There's DIRECTV's NFL Sunday Ticket.

*sigh* Steeler fans. (kidding)

Don't worry, Mooze.. I'm with you. NFL Sundays are pretty close to non-negotiable for me.

Murphy's is actually pretty decent (and within walking distance from the dorms). They have a nice setup and a few solid TVs... I joined a bunch of prospectives/students at Murphy's during DivCo to watch the Thursday night game (Raiders/Chargers?). No idea if they have a satellite though.
I'm in on the Sunday-as-football-priority crew

Consider me in the same group. Personally a long time Sunday Ticket subscriber, and I've got my wife just as excited for Sundays as I am. Heck, she watches the draft with me, now that's true love!

The DRAFT?! Is she running for wife of the year?

I almost want to start a new thread titled "Tuck 2012 - Calling All NFL Fans". At the very least, I'm going to friend you all on gmatclub. This is (ironically) not a game, people.

I'm thrilled (and not surprised) to hear this. I'm hoping to have a similar experience at ASW.

I was wait-listed in EA round and Tuck is my first choice. But being an international applicant, I need to start with i-20 process with the offer I have currently.

Can anyone suggest if we can change the college (hoping decision from Tuck by June) in the middle of i-20 or F1 processing in case I get an offer from Tuck by then?

I am sure you will, it seems like it's going to be a great time.

For me what made our experience even better this past weekend was not having it organized by the school. You have to expect they will put their best foot forward, but to have an exceptional experience (I'd say even better than my first visit which was set up around the interview) by just showing up and saying "I'm an admitted T14, can I ask you some questions" speaks volumes. Not only were the students themselves welcoming but the partners that were at the event (quite a few) were also great and really helpful. I don't have enough great things to say. Best of luck with your decision LRW (and all)!

I have to second this. We can't make it up for ASW so decided to do our own trip up to Hanover at the beginning of last week and we left totally sold. Looking forward to meeting you in the fall!
