Hi Westsew, how did you request for an interview via skype? I'm also an international student and will have to spend a big amount to interview at the nearest city. I was told previously that they really prefer live interview.

Yes, sure they prefer in person interviews but I mailed them and informed of my situation. I told I was not sure if I would be able to secure a visa on time. (I needed at least a Schengen visa). So I was offered one. did you scheduled one? when is your interview?

It went well! All the questions were very standard: Walk me through your resume, why Georgetown, why MBA, tell me about a leadership experience, and strengths and weaknesses. She also gave me time to ask questions at the end. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed and overall it was a very conversational interview, not intimidating at all.

Received an email that MSB is closed today. I am traveling to DC tomorrow for my Interview day after tomorrow, I am confused now if my interview would be canceled

Good luck! DC is expecting another storm tonight..
I have an on-campus interview scheduled for the 19th of February. I had a question regarding resume length. The one that I had submitted was two pages long based on the double line space and the 10 point font specified by Georgetown. I was wondering whether the "updated resume" for the interview can be the same (2 pages long) or whether it would be better to make it just one page. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response. But my question was actually whether it would be better to shorten my resume down to 1 page fromthe 2 pages that I had submitted to Georgetown. Thanks!
I have never even considered making my resume more than one page. I think one page will better highlight your strengths/experience; in addition I'm sure most interviewers will not want to review two pages.
I am flying up for an interview on the 17th afternoon. I'll be in DC until the 20th.. if anyone in town interviewing that week wants to meet up let me know. Also if anyone who has recently interviewed has any advice/suggestions.. please fire away. Thanks
If your resume is double spaced make it single spaced. They didn't tell the interviewers that double spacing was a requirement for the application (actually its probably a typo on the application). I was talking to a friend the other day who had just interviewed someone with a double spaced resume and his comment was "She had a really impressive resume 4 years at CEB, 2 years somewhere else, etc....but why was it double spaced?"
I recently got a notification that they're missing my transcript. I actually dropped it off at the office and asked the admissions to review.. Hopefully they'll find it soon!!
