I am Bruno Nellissery, a Great Lakes Institute Of Management Alumnus (Class of 2019). Before joining PGPM at Great Lakes, I was working in the IT industry in a support function for nearly 6 years. Applications for each cycle will be evaluated after each deadline and PI call letters will be sent out to shortlisted candidates based on overall profile strength, which includes academic track record, professional track record (for PGPM), achievements & initiatives, entrance scores & application essays (for PGPM). Shortlisted candidates will then go through an AWT (Analytical Writing Test) and PI (Personal Interview). Final offer will be based on overall performance in AWT, PI, and Profile Strength demonstrated in the Application Form. Candidates are requested to start their application early and patiently fill out every detail that would help their candidature and also take their time to organize their thoughts and draft the Application Essay(s). The application need not be filled in one sitting. You can save partial information and keep filling-up until the application deadline.
Early Interviews: Candidates registered for upcoming entrance tests, yet to appear or awaiting results until February 2022 can submit their form without a test score. Suitably strong profiles will be shortlisted and interviewed early based on overall merit. However, final offer will be decided on only after a valid entrance score is submitted. Candidates who do not get shortlisted for Early Interviews can still update their entrance score later and be considered for the upcoming cycle at that time.

What kind of topics should we expect in the AWT this year? Or rather fields broadly from which we should expect AWT topics to be.
Also, I was called for an early interview process and have submitted the relevant documents, some of the test scores for which the result is not out yet has been left blank. Hope that is fine!

Hi Sushmita,
You can expect any topic - economics, current affairs, technology, government policies, public health and safety, or even something abstract based on soft skills. Knowing facts and figures would be a plus, but not as important as how you can make sense out of the situation presented. The AWT is a test of your opinion formation, thought process and communication skills. You will have two topics out of which you can write on any one.
For the documents, pending test scores can be submitted once they are released. You just need to upload whatever is available now.
