Anyone know whether the essay questions for the EWMBA program are the same from year to year?

I'm thinking about going ahead and drafting some thoughts prior to the application opening (which I believe will happen in the next few weeks?).

Essay 2: The definition of successful leadership has evolved over the last decade and will continue to change. What do you need to develop to become a successful leader? (300 word limit)

Does anyone know will there be a live interview with real person? Or just that self-recording video interview?

Hey! Welcome! It's going to be self-recording videos, see the details below (quoted from haas website):

• Two video interview questions, 1-2 minutes of response time each
• Completed after submitting your application
• Required for an offer of admission
• Applicants will complete two short video questions in lieu of in-person interviews.

Our video interview provides the opportunity to ensure each candidate receives a very similar interview experience, which aids us in reducing unconscious bias in our admissions process. We are using the video interview to get to know you better outside of a written essay template. We also hope it is more convenient for those candidates who are applying from outside of the Bay Area.

For each question, you will have 1-2 minutes of response time. One question will be based on your desire to attend Haas and the other one will focus on leadership. You will complete the video interview post submission of your application. We will provide a link to the video interview in 1-2 days after you have submitted your application.
