I submitted my app on 11th and I just figured that in my self-reported transcript form, I made a typo in the information of one course. What should I do? Possible implications?
If the typo is the grade or number of units, then I might be concerned. If it's the name of the class or course identifier code, then not as much.
For my wharton app, I made a mistake in my self-reported transcript while filling it at the last minute. I missed a complete course in self-reported transcript because in my transcript it was right below another course that had the same grade (and the garde was not good). All other things, such as GPAs came out fine. I am concerned about my mistake
If you get an interview, I will bring the mistake to light...It is not worth riding it out to see if they spot the mistake. If you get accepted and they find out that you left out a course, they may rescind the offer.
smileyface, are you saying that I should let them know about it during the interview (if invited); can i let them know about it now.
The reason I had to fill the self-reported transcript at the last minute was only because my UG pdfs were larger than 500KB and unlike other schools wharton online app allows you to upload only 1 pdf for UG. I had divided my transcript to into 3 parts so I could upload each part for other schools, but wharton's was different.
I think they should be able to understand that it was an inadvertent mistake due to same course grade adjacent to where mistake happened.
I am concerned that any attempt to bring it to light is going to complicate it. My GPAs and everything else is reported correctly everywhere
