Sure, if we don't have an invite now, our odds are pretty slim (ie there are only 15-30 slots for thousands of applicants). But HBS has already hand-picked hundreds of all-stars, significantly weakening the uninterviewed applicant pool. so basically, yeah, we're not going to hbs this year.


Isn't it possible that they just read applications say in lots of certain sizes and send invites in the order they finish those lots. Probably they will finish all the remaining lots by today, which has our applications.

So if there are no interview slots left in some of the hubs, does that mean people applying from such places should not expect invitations anymore?

The hardcore optimist inside me says that they will add on the slots as they release interview invites..

i think IF there are any invites left, they will go out now and then the rejects will go out around noon EST

Guys- - whatever happens today..whether you get that invite or not- it is YOU who can make your future. HBS is great to have- but many (and I mean MANY) people have succeeded without it. Warren Buffet was dinged by HBS remember???

has anyone's app status changed on the application portal - once they take down the "your app is under review" then you know it's a ding-a-ling.

It still says "under review". I don't think it's going to change before the ding letters go out.
