Hello Everyone:
We are actively reviewing our waitlist candidates now and will begin releasing decisions starting next week. Contrary to the calls we received yesterday, we did not admit 20 people from the waitlist last Friday. We have not made any offers to anyone from the waitlist so far this month.
There will be a lot of movement on our waitlist over these next three weeks. At this time, we anticipate making approximately 15 offers of admission between now and the end of May. This number could increase slightly after May 23, which is the response date for those admitted in Round 3. We expect the majority of our decisions to be made by May 27.
Heading into June, the waitlist will be sized down to approximately 10 people; the waitlist at that time will serve to hold a group of candidates who could be available to matriculate in case last minute (early July) cancellations occur. If we would like to include you in this group, I will contact you.
It is critical to keep your contact information updated through the ApplyYourself system, especially since many of you are traveling now and over the next few weeks.
Thank you for your patience with our process, and please contact my colleague, Dana Scalisi, if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Eileen Chang
