Hey guys, yeah, much the same here. I figured I would have heard something by now, but so far not a peep.

I am based in the UK, and I have only heard of US/domestic applicants getting a response so far, so I'm not sure if this might be a location thing. The last update said invites would be sent out until Thursday the 5th of May, so I guess we'll find out in a couple of days.

I would love to believe the May 5th thing. Lets cross our fingers. I do think that there is something on the fact that interview slots were for last week. Can anyone with access to the scheduling service tell us if there are any slots after May 5th or if they have added slots to what was originally available two or three weeks ago?

Well... I guess this will be the last resort to know if any lucky one has a chance... I doubt though there would be any given that they had slots already scheduled out for last week...

Not still extending invites, but they had added a day of interviews on May 2nd. But invites to that day went out in mid April. After that, you are dealing w. one-offs, e.g. Osama Bin Laden called Dee last week to get interview invite for black sheep Saudi Prince, bf becoming out of the loop, and that guy might get a one-off interview after May 2nd or even after May 5th. For regular folks, esp. R3, my guess is, no more interveiws, if you are WL w.out inter., well, you might get a call. You also might win Instant Cash.

Round 3 Notification Tomorrow!
Date: May 04, 2011
We'll be getting decisions to Round 3 candidates tomorrow. If all goes as planned, candidates will get an email saying that their "decision is available" around noon Boston time. A handful of waitlist invitations will be issued, as well.

Current waitlisters have already received some news from Eileen earlier this week and will continue to be updated on our process regularly. We will definitely be making some offers to waitlisters over the next couple of months, but the timing is not definite. I do know that it's our plan to finalize the class by the end of June.

Look for a message here on Friday about summer activities on campus and some news about the application for the Class of 2014.

And, as usual, I hope this is helpful.

That's great news for WL'ers! "A handful of" interviewed WL'ers will get offers tomorrow at noon! Which means just like the R1 WL'ers, a handful of R1/R2 pool WL'ers are ahead of the R3 candidates. Good luck to the WL'ers!! Hope you get the good news tomorrow and I hope I can share your joy too!

Good news for WL'ers indeed. How shall we interpret the tea leaves? I figure a "handful" means something like 5 people out of 100 on the list will get an admit. Nice that something is coming, but I'm not getting too worked up over it given what the odds probably are.

mmmm. I think you guys misread that. I think she is saying that a handful of waitlist invitation will be extended. As in a handful of people will be waitlisted. I dont know, anyways, lets hope for the best and good luck to all.

It means there's a chance you could get offered admission later on depending on what happens with yield on R2 and R3 admits, but the odds are probably not very good. You're still alive though, so things could be worse. Adcom will probably want to know whether you want to remain on the WL or deny your spot.
