Hey guys,
I just wanted to ask something out of curiosity. What’s the main reason or basis on which you’re applying to IESE? I know it’s a great school. I’ve researched about their famous case method, the curriculum, and the faculty, all of which sound impressive.
But while checking placement data, I noticed that consulting roles after IESE seem relatively few, and most of them are for candidates based in Spain. The stronger placements I saw were mostly from 2021–22, during the COVID period. Many others appear to have either returned to India or taken up non-niche roles.
I’m genuinely interested in applying too, but I wanted to understand your perspective. What about IESE still makes it worth applying for you?

Personally speaking, I had the opportunity to participate in the assesment day the last time and i don’t know what happens in that school but people really live and believe in the school values, for me that I’m a person driven by purpose, it’s all I desire. Then... Case method is solid, academic rigor is top, diversity similar to top EU schools.
Respect career, I’m from Latam , I would love to stay some years in Europe, but going back to Latam is not a bad path... IESES is well recognized in my region and I love Latam 😅
