Yes after shortlisting it's required.

You only need to give details of references and not LORs

Essays will be required after shortlisting

Admission committee won't be calling them or seeking any letter from them

Sure? I only have to give three references. They won't call or seek some kind of recommendation letter ? Because most of the mba consulting forums or institution I asked, every time they told me, that after shortlisting, i have to give LOR from 2 to 3 people, and they have to mail to them
