You can look for IPMX program by IIML, they also have students with more than 12 years of exp and they are catching up fast with other programs in India

ISB typically prefers candidates with 2-5 years of full-time work experience. While it’s not uncommon for applicants to have 5-8 years of experience or even more. but having 12+ years of experience may be on the higher side for the regular PGP program

As per my knowledge, in the last batch i.e., PGP 2023 there were just a couple of students with 12+ years of experience, both in Mohali campus

How do they go about WAT? Is it held before the PI, after or either of them can happen depending on the time of interview? Is there a time limit given? I understand that it is to be hand written. Do the interviewers have an access to the sheet? Are the topics different for different people?

Can someone pls give an idea on the procedure?

Iimb generally doesn’t prefer 12+ experience folks. They’ve mentioned it on their comms as well

So which iim executive mba prefers this experience range >13
Please guide

IIM ABCLI, ISB all take students with 12y+ experience. Just the proportion varies.
IIM A & C prefer slightly higher work-ex than IIM B, L & I.
IIM B has least 10y+ experienced students (majority in 5-8yrs club), while IIM L has a decent number of 10y+. IIM L also has 2-3 students with 20y+ as well. I believe IIM I too is very open to candidates with 12y+ work-ex.
ISB batch is mostly in 2-5yrs range. 8yrs+ is a very small club there, but they exist. One reason behind this distribution is the fact that ISB targets those who couldn't/didn't join 2y courses at IIMs but are not yet eligible for 1yr courses at IIMs.

Profile looks good overall. GRE score might need some enhancement. However, a lot will depend on how you potray your profile, the stories you bring in and how you stand out from the crowd. All the best !

Please help in evaluating my profile for the 2024-25 batch of ISB/IIMs PGPX-EPGP

10th: 91% (CBSE BOARD)
12th: 89 (CBSE board)
BTech: Electronics from a normal college (67%)
GMAT: 760
work exp: 7 years in Ministry of Defence, Govt of India as a Gp ‘B’ Officer
Handled the HR related work for almost 1600 employees working in various offices all over India.
Received commendation from the Head of Organisation in the first yr of job

Extracurricular :
1- worked for NGO during college time
2. Part of musical club in the college

Open to even foreign 01 Yr MBA if possible

I already got my profile evaluated earlier...I gave my GMAT exam and got 760 now...I just want to know how much chance do I have of getting admission and further getting a good placement through the business school considering my government job background....

Requesting for profile evaluation for ISB, IIM A PGPX and IIM B EPGP

GRE score - 327
College - NIT JALANDHAR, 8.4 GPA
10th - 93%
12th - 87%

Work ex - 6.5 years in data analytics domain

Started with Mu Sigma as data scientist for 3 years, then with Lowe’s as senior analyst and now with LTIMindtree as analytics specialist

Post MBA plan - Product management or management consulting
