Some key points on *WAT for IIM B Interviews*:

The topics are not too difficult and they are usually focused on current topics. The college would want to view your ability to think logically and write structured content and viewpoints.
Some key points to remember are:
1) Think before you start writing
2) Give your opinions clearly
3) Think logically and view the problem from all angles
4) Write coherent and comprehensive viewpoints
5) Do not overcomplicate whatever you write

Some Topics from last few years:
1) What is your opinion on farmer’s bills that were recently passed?
2) Because of Covid-19, the economy and GDP have slumped, what can be done to revive and mitigate the situation?
3) Should the economy be opened, or should the government continue to impose lockdowns?

No, since it's a written test, they give the topic and 10 min to prepare for it. You cannot change the topic given.

My WAT topic was something along the lines of how Indian traditions can be used for the development of society and what are the opportunities and concerns.
