can anyone share previous year WAT topics ?
Some key points on WAT for IIM B Interviews:

The topics are not too difficult and they are usually focused on current topics. The college would want to view your ability to think logically and write structured content and viewpoints.

Some key points to remember are:
1) Think before you start writing
2) Give your opinions clearly
3) Think logically and view the problem from all angles
4) Write coherent and comprehensive viewpoints
5) Do not overcomplicate whatever you write

Some Topics from last few years:
1) What are your views on Greenwashing
2) Because of Covid-19, the economy and GDP have slumped, what can be done to revive and mitigate the situation?
3) Online/Digital learning and its future and challenges
4) How can the target Olympic podium scheme can be extended to grassroots level

Reach out if you need help from IIM B Alumni!

Hi tomthegrey, It will help if you can share which PSU you work for, what role do you play.
Admissions are somewhat subjective, two people with exact same profile may get two opposite results. So profile itself has limited role. If you can score above lets say 645 and you can provide enough evidence of good career and a reasonable thought process for your future, you stand a chance of qualification.

But for the information provided, acads are good and work experience year is something where most people convert. PSU experience in itself doesnt add any value but the work you have done in it does.

Hi tomthegrey,

Yes, it is realistic, especially, considering your stable career graph and stellar GMAT score.

It is always great to have extra-curricular activities but there is no point in pondering over what we do not; instead, let us make the most of what we do.

We encourage you to inquire with us for a free strategy session for guiding you.

All the best!

Of course, IIM B is a realistic aim. After IT, PSU candidates are the biggest lot in the class. However, competition is tough, a lot will ride on how you differentiate yourself from other PSU applicants. GMAT score should be around 645 or above. We have worked with many PSU candidates, with lower scores too and helped them secure admission at top IIMs. Keep enough time for your applications and essays, and make them very strong. Reach out if you need help from IIM Alumni, who have helped applicants from 7+ years.

Do we need to use any code for the gmat scores to be directly sent to iimb? I could do that without using any code by simply selecting the option schools in mba.com.

Yes, that's how it needs to be done. Simply search the school and the program, and hit 'Send'.

No school code required...

social009, If you are confident of improving score then, please go ahead with that. Your profile, work experience etc will also play a role in deciding what decision you should consider. But broadly speaking, if you feel that you can get better score than this in next 1-2 months, then go ahead with that. It will help in your application.
