just like any other college i think they do a common waitlist (no idea on how it’s set and prioritized) but keep bumping up people as selected students exit/give up their seat.

My 2 cents Waitlist movement is based on a lot of factors . Most important being the genre of admit which has forgone the seat.
E.g If a doctor has moved from IIMC MBAEx program to ISB then the seat would be passed on to another candidate who is from healthcare instead of IT to maintain the balance.
