I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from MNNIT Allahabad with over 6 years of experience across the corporate, development, and consulting sectors. I began my career as a Design Engineer at L&T, working on international projects. Driven by my passion for impactful change, I transitioned to the development sector as a Project Associate at Better World Foundation (BWF), and later as a PPIA Fellow with Transform Rural India (TRIF), where I led grassroots governance and development initiatives in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
Currently, I am working with EY LLP as a Project Consultant, based at the District Administration office in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, where I serve as the Programme Officer for Livelihood and Skill Development. This role has deepened my expertise in public service delivery, policy implementation, and stakeholder management.
With a GMAT Focus Edition score of 645, now pursuing an MBA to transition into higher-growth, globally competitive roles in strategy or impact consulting with firms like BCG, Deloitte, Dalberg,EY and consulting also parallel looking in ESG domain.. I am looking to build my career internationally, particularly in the UK, USA, Singapore, or the Middle East. Suggestion for college and any good affordable consultant
Diverse & impactful work and experience in the development sector is highly valued by B-Schools. Your goals also seem aligned with your experience. Would love to know your grades in MNIT and any extracurriculars worth mentioning. If you are looking to work internationally, evaluate the likes of NUS, HEC, INSEAD, LBS, Oxford. While US has always been a lucrative option, given the current situation, I wouldn’t recommend that as the first choice. Also, if possible, try to bump up your GMAT score to 675+ for a much stronger chance at top international schools. Happy to discuss about your plan in more detail at Preppie (
