Hey - Is there any space in the application where we have to mention Why ISB, WHY MBA sort of answer, the essay prompts are not asking around these themes, so just wanted to confirm with you folks.

There is no need to answer the Why MBA, and Why ISB through essay prompts, If there is no scope to touch upon these arguments
But these are inevitable questions you can get to answer, possibly during the interview.
When asked during the interview, do address them convincingly. I would advise you to impose a structure to tackle these questions.
For Why MBA: As you make the case that you need an MBA, there are three aspects to a business school education you might touch on.
The first and most obvious is *the academic element,* and your need to learn more about certain disciplines and the way they work together in order to make a career shift, start a company and/or become an effective manager and business leader. This kind of argument is a great start, but it’s wise to shore up your argument; after all, one could arguably learn about finance, for example, by reading a book rather than attending business school. Therefore, a second point you might raise is the benefit of learning alongside others and benefiting from classmates’ perspectives and anecdotes about their own experiences. A final point you might raise involves the benefit of taking 1-2 years to immerse yourself in management study
and put your past experiences in context, thus orienting yourself as you prepare to take the next step in your career. By stressing the social elements of an MBA program, you’ll demonstrate that you appreciate the merits of full-time education and solidify your ‘why MBA’ argument.

Need Profile Evaluation (28M Indian Engineer - 675 GMAT Focus - 5 YoE @ Bank of America)
Hi everyone, appreciate your feedback on my profile for R1/R2.
## Stats
Demographics: 27 , Male, Indian Engineer
Education: B.Tech EE, Delhi Technological University (DTU) | 10th: 95%, 12th: 93%
GMAT Focus: 675

## Work Experience: 5 YoE @ Bank of America (Senior Analyst, Cloud & Tech)
Key Accomplishments:
Innovation (Global Gold Award): Automated a 30-min manual process to <2 min (90% gain), earning the bank’s highest award (top 0.01%).
AI/ML Leadership (Global Silver Award): Led creation of a predictive risk model (98% accuracy). Filed 2 US patents in AI.
Impact: Received multiple other global awards for client delivery, strategic reporting, and D&I leadership. Personally commended by the CTO.

## Extracurriculars & Leadership
Budding Entrepreneur : Raising my own startup. Currently in pre-seed stage.
Founder & Captain, Formula Student EV Team (HERTZ ELECTRIC): Founded my university’s first EV team, grew it to 35+ members, secured ₹45L+ in sponsorships (Bosch, MRF), and led to a Top 6 national finish.
Other Key Experiences: Sole university recipient of a fully-sponsored US internship; Community sports organizer (Badminton, 100+ members); NGO mentor for underprivileged children.

## Goals & Targets
Post-MBA Goal: Product Manager (Fintech/AI), then CPO/Founder.
Target Schools: IIM-A/B/C, ISB. Open to global: INSEAD, LBS.

## My Questions
Is my GFE 675 competitive enough for IIM A/B/C and ISB?
Does founding an EV team + my innovation awards (Gold, patents) differentiate me enough from the typical Indian applicant pool?
Are my Product Management goals realistic?
Overall profile for my target global / Indian B schools ?
Thanks for the help!

A killer profile! A well-placed application positioning could fetch admission from the mentioned schools.

Hey! I’m about to start my GMAT prep, but the coaching is quite expensive. Is anyone up for splitting the cost, sharing an active account, or even just sharing some tips on how to self-prepare?
