Hey. Should I waive my right to see the recommendation or keep it? Which is better?
Waiving shows more confidence and seeing it won’t help you anyway... so I think waiving the right to see is better choice

I wanted to get an idea of this as well. Will it factor in negatively if I opt for virtual interview mode instead of in -person? I am from Delhi, but might have some family functions in Assam.
I think it might be a mistake to go for online interview when you can attend it offline.

Ask for a different date if required...

Hi deepshah07, Based on the information you have shared, which is 7.2 CGPA and 5 years in Devops in MNC, it looks like you will need around 675-685 score to be competitive.
The profile depends on quality of work one does, extra curricular, career progression, academic scores, college brand, goals clarity etc. You can discuss these with us or anyone else you prefer to get a more holistic view.
Best Wishes.

Hi adip_bali, Impressive recommenders and impressive variety in work. Being a product manager in fintech and past experience in headhunting, you will be preferred candidate for placements. The graduation college is well recognized. NGO work is decent.

Hope you are doing well with medical issue. The gap because of that will not be an issue as the reason for that is beyond anyone’s control.

645-655 should be enough and anything above will be obviously better. Best wishes.

Hi DrTushita, Not many applicants have medical degree. And not many have core healthcare domain experience. Marketing and Branding in itself is a creativity intensive work and will be a valuable experience to share. Given your work experience as you have correctly mentioned, you can apply in IIM A,B,C along with ISB. You should be good with score of 645. It should definitely lead to atleast one selection among these colleges. (Assuming average extra curricular). Best Wishes.

Hi JayathS, You have good experience within product management. Working in supply chain domain and especially for B2B product is a tough job. On top of that, you have worked on linear programming models. This is real good variety for a 3 years experience. Extra curricular is good, but it will be better if you can something from the last 3 years. The academics are decent.
But the downside is that the application pool from software/product line is too competitive and you r work experience is slightly lower than most applicants. In this case you will have to target a bit higher than others. Something above 675 will definitely help your selection chances. Best wishes. And special wishes for your long term goal, I hope get there some day soon!
